Although many descendants of David McNutt resided in Sandusky, Seneca, Ottawa, Erie, and Huron counties, they were not the only McNutts and McNitts to live there. The McNitt and McNutt history written by David's grandson makes mention of a number of relatives. There also were some McNutts who do not seem to have been closely related.
