on the family farm near Salem; son of Barnard McNITT
and Margaret -----. Alexander married Elizabeth McLEM on 14 April 1749
at Pelham, Hampshire, Massachusetts. She was christened on 02 May 1731 at Rutland,
Worcester, Massachusetts; died on 12 April 1791 at Salem; daughter of Andrew and Isabel
McLEM. Alexander married second Jane ----- in 1792 at Salem. She was born
in 1743; died on 3 July 1811 at Salem.

Margaret MCNITT, born in 1754/5 at Pelham; died on 29 May 1839 at Ellicottville,
Cattaraugus, New York. Margaret married James Bolton on 24 September 1778
at Salem. He was born before 1755 and died on 13 September 1803 at Mentz,
Cayuga, New York.

John MCNITT, born on 24 February 1759 at Pelham; died on 17 April 1843 at
Norwich, Chenango, NY. John married Eleanor SMILEY about 1780 at Salem.

Elizabeth MCNITT, born on 16 April 1761 at Pelham, died on 6 February 1835 at Le
Ray, Jefferson, New York. Elizabeth married William ROGERS at Salem.
He was born on 3 June 1759 at Londonderry, Rockingham, New Hampshire and
died on 21 February 1842 at Le Ray.

Sarah MCNITT, born in 1769/70 in New York; died after 1845. Sarah
married Alexander Bolton on 10 August 1786 at Salem. He was born on 27
April 1758 at Glasgow, Berkshire, Massachusetts and died on 25 October 1836
at Ledyard, Cayuga, New York.
