Descendants of Betsey MCNUTT BAKER

I have not found them in the 1820 census, but in 1830 they were in Townsend, Sandusky County, Ohio and in 1840 they were in Margaretta, Erie County and sons Charles, Jefferson, and Shepard headed their own households in Margaretta Township.  By 1850 several of the sons lived in Indiana.  I have not found Charles or Betsey in the 1850 census and assume that they died in the 1840s.

First Generation

They had the following children.

+	7	M	vi	John BAKER was born about 1823. He died before 1880.
